Buy a prebuilt website
Buying a prebuit website can be a good idea for your Real Estate Internet Marketing.
Prebuilt sites come as a turn key system, preloaded. They are great to use, but you are limited by your own knowledge and ability to use the internet to drive traffic to the site. Additionally, they can cost up to $3000 dollars.
They are good if you have money to spend and don't have the time or interest in getting things going yourself.
Attending a Seminar
These are also a great way to learn Real Estate Internet Marketing, but they too can be more expensive. A typical 3 day seminar can run about $3995. They are costly, but the information is very valuable (assuming you invest in a good one) and they typically offer some support once you are on your own. The upside to the seminar is the networking, the excitement, and many of the things you need to start up are pre built for you, and you walk away with a down and dirty knowledge of what steps to take, and where else to look for answers.
Hire a Web Master
Web masters can help, but they again come with a high cost. You can visit sites like craigslist.com, or elance.com to get some great talent and pricing, but again, once the site is up and running, you are out of support. Every time you want to change something, or need to move fast on something, you need to go to someone.
Get a Membership to a Internet Marketing site and learn
If you really want to get good at using the internet for use in your real estate investing marketing, you need to learn how to build and update a website. You need to learn how to get your site listed high in the search engines. You need to learn you to build lots of targeted traffic. And you should learn how to market investor related items so you can supplement your investing activities.
Once you know the ins and outs of how this all works, then you can go ahead and outsource to web designers, or buy prebuilt sites. But you need to be able to tell people what it is you want.
Don't spend thousands until you know what it is you want, and how it all works.
What is the best resource that I can utilize to get the best result and value?
In my searches to learn more about real estate internet marketing in an effort to boost my real estate investing, I came across many e-books, and "programs" that claim to show how to make it happen. Many push the whole "make it rich in 30 days!" That whole salesy text put such a bad taste in my mouth, not to mention the thousands that they all want to "show you the keys or secrets."
I kept searching and came across two resources that I thought were worthy as they offered a no nonsense approach, and they very clearly stated that this is a tool, and a business, but I should not expect to be rich in one month! And it takes effort.
I ended up selecting a site called Wealthy Affiliate . The reason I chose this site was because they not only offer website knowledge, but they offered tutorials, e materials, and a forum of very supportive people committed to helping each other succeed. The two creators, Kyle and Carson, also make themselves available to offer help and will answer your questions.
To that end there are a tremendous amount of resources dedicated to finding profitable niches and then finding profitable keyphrases within those niches. While some Search Engine Optimiztion(getting you sites ranked high) is covered, the site offers some excellent tools and insight into building successful Pay Per Click campaigns. I learned quite a bit in my first hour as a member about how to properly structure a PPC campaign to get the most traffic for the least amount of money. Lot's of great insight there that I had never heard of before.
Another thing to consider is that with Wealthy Affiliate , it's NOT required that you have a website. If you're just getting started you can join Wealthy Affiliate, use their tools and resources AND start making money without doing any website building and without needing any type of web hosting.
What you're actually getting when you join...
The training section or Learning Resources as they call it, is organized into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced areas, each section has a selection of tutorials -short write-ups that cover a specific task, courses - longer training documents that will require a bit more time to complete and a downloads section - in downloads you'll find templates for web and Landing pages. Lastly, they offer a selection of videos to help with things like setting up your adwords account and their "Common Keyword Technique."
The Research Center has some very cool tools for doing keyword research. One tool allows you to see, at a glance who your Google Adwords competition will be and what they're doing. Another tool allows you to combine two different keyword lists to create new more targeted keyphrases - this is very cool if you want to add city names to your keyphrases. Other tools combine data from Yahoo and Google to make new keyword suggestions. Lot's of good stuff here, but most of it is available elsewhere (although you'll probably have to pay for it).

The Support and the community! With Wealthy Affilate you get all the hand holding you need. The partners will go so far as to personally review your adwords campaign to ensure that you're not over-spending and that your campaigns are focused enough. You also have access to the forum -this is usually the most important part of any membership site - and WA is no exception. The forum is extremely active, with the partners and some senior members helping out the newbies with some astonishing insights. I've reviewed several of their "sticky" threads and I can tell you, the information is priceless. You're essentially getting a crash course in affiliate marketing by real affiliates who have proven money making track records.
